Overview
What's the strategy?
Core Balanced Growth Plus (PSG) is a fund of funds, holding underlying funds that invest in asset classes including Canadian fixed income and Canadian and foreign equity.
It is constructed to provide significant growth potential with an effective income counterbalance. The strategy has a preference for large cap stocks in the equity allocation, and an allocation to a diversified fixed income fund.
Why invest in this portfolio strategy?
Ideal for investors seeking a diversified portfolio with more equity than fixed income.
The strategy provides diversification through exposure to multiple asset classes in domestic and foreign markets and multiple active managers.
Investors benefit from the active management of some of the underlying fund managers. The strategy also invests in index tracking funds. Investors further benefit from automatic rebalancing, ensuring the asset mix stays close to the desired asset mix.
